The area belongs to the southern part of the plain of Prato, to the north of Poggio a Caiano village, between river Ombrone and Filimortula canal. All around, a banal landscape dominates with arable fields, many of which almost entirely occupied by vegetable gardens, shacks and unlawful deposits of building materials.
